This a man made fish pond, made of rocks and concrete, in the Philippines. These are very common sites on the coast of the Philippine islands and used to trap small fish as they come to the edge of the shore to feed. This is a type of Passive Fishing where very little work has to be done except go out and collect the fish when the higher tide disappears or turns into low tide. The only major problem with these passive fish ponds is the small fish they catch can never turn into larger fish and does not help in the over fishing problem of the Philippines.
