Fishing at sunset and night time is most popular in the Philippines. In this image the Fishermen are departing at sunset for deeper waters to fish during the evening hours. They use lights on their small bangka boats to attract the fish. At night time if you look out over the water you can see a lot of lights over the water as they fish, providing there is no moon light. The sea is a bit red at sunset because of the reflection of the sun and sometimes because of the red tide. Because many areas of the Philippines is over fished, especially near larger cities, there is too much algae which causes Red Tide alerts.
